Our Refund Commitment
We aim to make your experience with our site as smooth as a Sullivan sunset. If something ain’t right with a purchase or service, we’ll work to make it right. Here’s what you need to know about refunds for different scenarios:
Newsletter Subscriptions: If you sign up for our premium travel newsletter (packed with local tips and updates), but it’s not what you expected, you can request a refund within 7 days of your subscription start date. We’ll return your full payment, no fuss, as long as you email us with your request. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
Event Bookings: If we’re promoting a local event (like a festival or guided tour) and you book through us, you can get a full refund if you cancel at least 14 days before the event. Between 14 and 7 days, we’ll refund 50% of your payment. Less than 7 days? Sorry, no refunds, as we’ve already committed to the organizers. If we cancel an event, you’ll get a full refund, no questions asked.
Merchandise: If you snag some Sullivan swag (like a mug or tote from our online shop), you can return it within 30 days for a full refund, as long as it’s unused and in original condition. You’ll need to cover return shipping costs, unless the item’s damaged or wrong—then we got you covered. Contact us to start the return process.
Digital Products: Any digital downloads, like travel guides or maps, are non-refundable once downloaded, cause, well, you’ve got ‘em already. If there’s a technical issue (like a broken file), let us know, and we’ll fix it or refund you.
How to Request a Refund

Event Cancellations or Changes: If a local event gets canceled or rescheduled by organizers, we’ll refund your full payment or transfer it to the new date, your choice. We’ll notify you ASAP if plans change.

Non-Refundable Items
Some things can’t be refunded, like:
Digital products after you’ve downloaded them.
Event tickets within 7 days of the event, unless we cancel it.
Used or damaged merchandise (unless it arrived that way).
Subscriptions after the 7-day refund window.

Your Responsibilities
To keep things smooth, please:
Contact us within the refund deadlines (7 days for subscriptions, 14-30 days for events, 30 days for merchandise).
Return merchandise in its original condition, with tags and packaging if applicable.
